The Centre Facilities
The Electric Mountain is a popular attraction with over 225,000 visitors to the Dinorwig Power Station or Visitor Centre each year.
On the shore of Llyn Padarn, Electric Mountain marks the starting point for tours into Dinorwig Power Station. Deep in Elidir Mountain is one of Europe's largest man made caverns, home to a pumped storage generator which converts the power of water into electricity.
For all your shopping requirements, the gift and craft shop provides a comprehensive range of products including books, jewellery, glassware, pottery confectionary and novelties.
The Visitor Centre has a shop with a variety of gifts for all ages, including a selection of jewellery, children's toys, home ware and souvenir gifts. We specialise in unique gift ideas and also stock a range of quality outdoor clothing.
Carrie Elspeth Jewellery is a new edition to our range of gifts offered at Electric Mountain. The beautiful collection of hand made jewellery created from a wide range of materials including Swarovski crystal, natural stones, metals and resin. All of the Carrie Elspeth Jewellery collection is hand made in Wales and includes necklaces, bracelets and earrings.
As the seasons change, so does the Carrie Elspeth Jewellery collection. We are very excited about her latest stunning range of jewellery – the Autumn 2014 Collection! From sensuous crystal hearts to elegant pearl mixes the collection is brimming colour and sophistication. Sparkling treasures await in what Carrie thinks could be her strongest collection yet!
We also have a new range of Clogau Gold Jewellery - absolutely beautiful!
Clogau is a second generation family business based in Wales. For 25 years, their growing range of jewellery has captured the hearts and imaginations of jewellery lovers from far and wide. Every piece created contains rare Welsh gold from the Snowdonia mountains.
Amongst the many reasons customers purchase Clogau jewellery, with rare Welsh gold, is because it is seen as an heirloom with both a personal and cultural meaning and a permanent tie to Wales – something valuable to pass down the generations. It is our heritage that defines what we are, and provides the cornerstone for our future – a future that will hopefully be as successful as their story has been to date.
